Eye Examinations

At Lynne Fernandes Opticians we offer 3 types of eye test. They range from general eye examinations which look comprehensively at your eye health, to cataract examinations and retina examinations which are more specific.

Spectacles

We offer a range of designer spectacles including designer glasses such as Prada, Gucci and Maui Jim, and are committed to finding the right glasses to suit each customer both practically and stylistically.

Contact Lenses

Lynne Fernandes Optometrists are able to provide a full contact lens service, from contact lens fitting consultancy which includes teaching patients to fit contact lenses independently, to delivery and after care. We have access to all contact lens brands plus specialist contact lenses to suit for instance colour vision problems.

Specialist Services

As part of our eye care service we also offer specialist services which can be arranged alongside your routine sight test for an additional fee. Our doctors and consultants offer retinal photography which can help track the state of your eyes and glaucoma screening for patients at risk of the condition. We also conduct dry eye testing and binocular vision assessments and provide solutions and techniques to manage these conditions, and DVLA fitness to drive assessments.

The EyeSense scheme enables superior eye care treatment at a cost spread over direct debit payments. We are also able to provide emergency appointments which are available under the EyeSense scheme.

Other Products

Bristol sunglasses and prescription sunglasses are both available to protect your eyes from sun damage in a range of styles and prices. We also provide a selection of sportswear including a range of swimming goggles and diving masks to enable you to see under water, along with glasses to suit cycling and skiing etc. Eyewear accessories can help care for your glasses, and we provide an assortment of sprays and cloths.
