Optical Advisor – Gloucester Road

Lynne Fernandes Optometrists are a family-run independent firm of opticians based in Bristol and Nailsea. We are looking to hire a full time Optical Advisor to work 5 days per week in our Gloucester Road practice.

Optical Advisor – Requirements

  • Previous optical experience essential (applications with no optical experience will not be progressed)
  • Excellent communication skills

Optical Advisor – Responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting patients
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Booking and managing appointments
  • Pre-screening patients
  • Advising and recommending frames and products
  • Processing cash and card transactions
  • Checking deliveries and maintaining stock control
  • Maintaining a clean, well stock and well-presented practice

Optical Advisor – Benefits

  • Hours: 5 days a week including most Saturdays, 8.45am to 5.30pm (no Sundays or Bank Holidays)
  • Salary: between £16,000 to £20,000 (depending upon your level of experience) plus bonus
