Qualifications
BSc (Hons) MCOptom DipTp (IP)I am an independent prescribing Optometrist with a wealth of experience in multiple and independent Optometrist settings. I qualified with BSc Hons in Optometry in 1999 and undertook further training to become a prescribing Optometrist in 2023 through Bristol Eye Hospital.
I am clinical lead for Myopia management in the Gloucester Road practice with a passion for paediatric optometry after gaining training through the Brian Holden Vision Institute and Myopia Profile for myopia management. I have been treating myopic patients through myopia management since 2017 offering a wealth of treatment options to them.
I am trained in specialist dry eye treatments including IPL laser, punctal plug fitting and lacrimal syringing which have proven extremely beneficial for the comfort of our patients with dry eye conditions and blepharitis.
