Supporting Caring in Bristol
Making a Difference in Our Community
At Lynne Fernandes Optometrists, we believe that great vision should go hand in hand with a great community. That’s why we are proud to support Caring in Bristol, a leading charity dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their homes in Bristol.
As we reflect on our impact in 2024, we’re honoured to have played a part in the vital work that Caring in Bristol does.
How Our Donations Helped in 2024
In 2024, our donations contributed towards:
✔️ Providing ongoing, expert support to six individuals facing a housing crisis.
✔️ Ensuring 24 vulnerable individuals receive essential care this winter, including food, clothing, and emotional support.
These efforts change lives, offering stability and hope to those who need it most.
Why Supporting Local Charities Matters
Bristol continues to face growing challenges around homelessness, making the work of Caring in Bristol more critical than ever. From emergency winter shelters to long-term support programmes, the charity provides essential services that help people rebuild their lives.
At Lynne Fernandes Optometrists, we see first-hand how health, well-being, and social support are all connected. By supporting Caring in Bristol, we’re not just helping with housing - we’re helping to create a healthier, more resilient community.
