I joined LFO in April 2024.
What was your role before LFO?
I've done a variety of jobs in the past, from measuring elderly ladies for corsets to working behind the deli counter in a supermarket. But most of my career I've been a florist. I loved it but after thirty years I needed a new challenge and that's when I saw that LFO was looking for new staff to join their communications team.
What does a great week feel like at LFO?
A great week is speaking to patients and helping them get the best outcome for their needs. It's hugely satisfying to know that a patient has had a great experience at the practice, from booking their appointment, through their eye exam to receiving a pair of glasses that they're really happy with. It's a fulfilling place to work.
What makes LFO different?
I've never worked anywhere where every member of the team is so dedicated to doing their very best for patients. The whole company works hard to constantly improve and the atmosphere working here is always positive and upbeat. The staff truly want to give an excellent service in every way. I'm very happy to work here.
